How Do We Explore - NOAA Training
This course is provided to more advanced Sea Scouts to give the basics of organizing and operating a search & rescue mission on water. This training is conducted with SSTV Loki and RV Gresskar.
The Atlanta Sea Scout Squadron facilitates the registration and promotion of training for boat safety, seamanship, navigation, engine maintenance as part of a National Memorandum of Understanding between the BSA and the US Power Squadron.

Under a Memorandum of understanding between the National Sea Scouts and the Maritime Archeological Historical Society classroom and field studies training is available to all registered Sea Scouts. Completion of this course by certified scuba divers will allow participation in on-going underwater archeological projects in Florida and Maryland.
